Zewditu “Ziggy” Mulugeta is a master stylist, entrepreneur, and beauty industry leader with more than two decades of experience transforming hair and empowering women. As the founder of Ziggy Artistry and Z Hair Collection, she has built a luxury brand centered on healthy hair, premium extensions, and expert care for natural and textured hair. Opening her first salon at just 24, Ziggy quickly became known for her precision, restoration expertise, and ability to blend artistry with education and heart. A graduate of Berkeley College with a degree in Fashion Marketing and Management, she combines technical mastery with strategic business acumen, expanding her portfolio into real estate and multiple revenue streams. Beyond beauty, Ziggy is the founder of Swim for Yinka, a nonprofit established in honor of her late husband, Dr. Olayinka Akisanya, dedicated to promoting water safety in underserved black and brown communities. Through beauty, business, and philanthropy, Ziggy represents modern leadership: purpose-driven, financially empowered, and committed to lasting impact.
